Be good to yourself, learn English!

Prevent Alzheimer\’s Disease…

Senior citizens, you can learn English or pick up a new skill at any age. Moreover it is incredibly beneficial for your brain. Studying a new topic can help slow or prevent the onset of lowered brain function common to old age. It may even improve your overall physical health.

Brain

Learning something new or improving an existing skill boosts the brain\’s ability to create new pathways and access existing networks more efficiently. The idea is to study something completely new or try a more challenging level in a subject you are familiar with.

English at any age!

You are never too old to start learning, and there are so many reasons why you should be studying English regardless of your age. Studying English will allow you to,

  • understand what is going on in the world, even locally, better;
  • help your grandchildren with their homework;
  • travel abroad with confidence;
  • communicate with tourists who visit your country smoothly (the Tokyo 2020 Olympics are just around the corner!);
  • make new friends;
  • have fun…

All this while keeping your brain and your body healthy!
